Barbara Melton

Barbara graduated from San Jose State University in Occupational Therapy. She has worked as a pediatric OT for 33 years. Her extensive experience includes working with infants and toddlers in early intervention in CA, FL and VA. She has experience working in the public school system in FL and VA for 6 years. She has worked in hospital and out patient setting from 1992-2008 providing OT services to children ages 0-18 with a wide array of diagnosis. She has extensive continued education in the area of pediatric therapy including multiple certifications: ADHD -Certified Clinical Service Provider, Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, Certified Anxiety Informed Professional and she is a Certified Early Intervention Provider in VA. She has training in Primitive reflex integration, Neuro Developmental Treatment (NDT), DIR floortime, SOS feeding therapy, Zones of Regulation, orthotics and sensory integration. In her spare time Barbara loves to read, dance, hike, play pickleball and spend time with her family.
